MARKD 002
Here’s everything I MARKD this week:
Up Next Designer posted Do Long’s runway in Veitnam and I’m pretty sure it took the world by storm. I reposted several of the runway pieces to my Instagram story, just as manyyy of my IG peers did. How can you not repost this beauty? The piece pictured of above, however, takes the cake for me. The structure. The simplicity. The elegance. Just perfection. MARKD
A Pinterest save that has consumed my mind ever since it crossed my path. So much so I had to track it down. I used Google Lens to help me find similar items… and I think I found what I was looking for. Lunatic Studio is a Ukranian brand with KNWLS London vibes but much more affordable.
Have you seen the Tiktok video of the girl with this top too? It happens to be from one of my all time favorite brands, Arakii. Its on the pricier side, but boy is it worth it.
A quick shoutout to one of the best purchases I’ve made this year. Back in September I challenged myself to wear my what was already in my closet while attending NYFW—no new purchases, with the exception being these chocolate brown suede pumps from Jeffrey Campbell. I was packing a handful of brown outfits for the week, but my wardrobe was absent of brown shoes to complete the looks. I found these babies and never looked back.
Why does this pertain to this week’s MARKD items? Last week, I wore these heels for nearly 16 hours and my feet didn’t just survive, they thrived. I went from a full day 8hr work day at a co-working space in SF to a Warriors vs Timberwolves (Go Wolves) game and then out on the town. It wasn’t til the last hour or so of the day that my feet started aching. Glory to Jeffrey Campbell (one of my besties has told me that they have the MOST comfortable boots so I’m dying to get my hands on a pair).
LORE recently me some a few scents to try out. I tried them out, and here is my conclusion. LORE is the LOEWE of the fragrance world—beautifully crafted, luxurious from every angle and the underdog until they weren’t. Even the bottles themselves are a work of art.
One of my besties is a fragrance connoisseur and she asked me what I thought of LORE’s scents. My response: it smells as though I just stepped into a luxury fashion house flagship store. Thats the only way I could describe it.
Winter is all about sheer tights, but if you want to level up, go for cropped or footless tights (could even cut your regular black stockings, but I’m not sure what the rolled up would look like).
